People’s Movement Against Corruption
Join the People’s Movement against Corruption! Endorse the September 21 Day of Action against Corruption and plan activities in your cities!
Our Demands:
Protect Philippine sovereignty from greedy politicians who surrender our land, resources, people to foreign interests.
Remove from government posts, hold accountable and jail all those culpable for anomalous flood control projects and other corruption schemes, including in the consular and migrant worker offices abroad.
Take back all stolen wealth and return it to the Filipino people.
Abolish all forms of corruption schemes, pork barrel and confidential and intelligence funds.
End the control of political dynasties in the Philippine government.
Ways to take action:
Plan Actions for September 21 to commemorate Martial Law Anniversary and connect it to the issue of corruption with other individuals and organization in your city, and let us know so we can create a country-wide calendar!
Conduct community outreach! Talk to people about the issue of corruption and get them to be part of the movement!
Plan different types of activities in the lead-up to and after September 21 like townhalls, discussion groups, and other types of gatherings to find ways to work together.
Hold film and documentary screenings to show the impacts of corruption in the Philippines.
Develop art and publication materials to creatively illustrate our common desire for change in the Philippines.
