Zaldy Co, Philippine politician who stole billions through “ghost” projects, has been arrested in Prague. Prosecute him immediately.

Zaldy Co was an elected representative in the Philippines. He served as the CEO of Sunwest, a construction company and government contractor. Zaldy is facing charges of graft and corruption while in office for substandard P289 million flood control project in Mindoro.

The Anti-Money Laundering Council claims that Zaldy received up to P802 million in deposits from Sunwest, a corporation his family owns while he was serving in office.

This is against the law.

Zaldy’s case was one of many being uncovered and as more evidence came to light about this government corruption scheme, a nationwide movement was launched. Millions protested and called for all those implicated to be held accountable and jailed.

Zaldy fled the country and spent months hiding all over the world to evade accountability. During his worldwide evasion tour, Zaldy dropped a bombshell on the Marcos family. He alleged the Marcos received P25 billion in kickbacks from budget insertions overseen by Zaldy himself.

Marcos denies this but his family legacy is of corruption and stolen wealth tells another story.

Zaldy was declared a fugitive by the Sandiganbayan in February. The PNP assures the public he will be arrested upon his return to the Philippines. Zaldy must be immediately prosecuted, along with all other corrupt politicians. Zaldy must also tell-all about the Marcos family’s role in corruption.

Zaldy is one of many bureacrat capitalists who’ve used their positions of power to steal from the Filipino people. They’ve caused the suffering of millions while they continue to live lavishly and with little accountability.

All of them must be held to prosecuted. All of them must be jailed. Ikulong na yan, mga kurakot.
