Marcos at Duterte, nakakahiya kayo
Four years of unkept promises, lies, human rights violations, war crimes, and disappointment for the Filipino people under Marcos and Duterte.
Marcos and Duterte have made the lives of Filipinos worse. As the President and Vice President, they've overseen the murder of hundreds, allowed for the plunder of our lands, and have stolen our money.
And they keep lying about it.

Last year, Marcos Jr. called out his fellow politicians: mahiya naman kayo, during his 4th State of the Nation Address. He shamed the hundreds in front him for taking part in corruption schemes, particularly ones related to flood control projects in the destructive aftermath of three typhoons.
But Marcos is the most corrupt. The only arrests that have been made are politically motivated - Duterte leaning
senators Estrada, Marcoleta being charged and arrested for graft and plunder. Others like his cousin disgraced former House Speaker Romualdez remains untouched, his son Rep. Sandro Marcos who received the highest portion of allocable funds has evaded scrutiny.

Sara has left the country in the middle of her impeachment trial. She's allergic to to accountability just like her father. Sara's impeachment trial, which is ultimately about corruption and her assassination plot against Marcos, has exposed the power struggle between the Marcoses and Dutertes, the most corrupt and fascist political dynasties in Philippine history.
They are vying to consolidate the power and control with their eyes set on the 2028 Presidential Elections.
Marcos, Duterte and their orchestratedpolitical circus have
made a mockery of our democratic institutions. They must be held accountable.
Upper Middle-Income Lie
In 2022, Marcos set his sights on the Philippines becoming a "upper-middle income country" and according to the World Bank, the Philippines has crossed that threshold.
But that designation means absolutely nothing to people who scrape by on less than $10 a day for a family of 5.
According to the Ibon Foundation and the Social Weather Survey
Families who consider themselves poor rose by 2.3 million to 14.5 million
Those experiencing involuntary hunger increased by 3.6 million to 6.5 million from Q2 2022 to Q1 2026
Inequality is worsening: 62% of Filipinos (70 million) are in families making less than Php22,000/month, while only 1.5% (1 million) make above Php180,000 to Php17 million or more per month.
It is only Marcos, his ruling class buddies, the bureaucrat capitalist class who stand to benefit from this designation.
#1 Puppet and Sellout
Marcos has paved the way for more US intervention: Pax Silica, the Critical Minerals Deal, more military basing via the EDCA sites, ever-expanding war rehearsals like Balikatan, millions of military aid and financing. He's opened the floodgates for a new era of plunder and destruction under the guise of "development" and "progress".
But in truth, these deals just bring false hope and more long-term suffering. It doesn't contribute to long-term national industrialization of the Philippines but rather locks us into a global supply chain that serves the interests and needs of foreign powers, and Trump's war expansion.
Marcos the Killer
He's also ordered senseless massacres, like the Negros 19 which included 9 civilians, the Fausto family including their two children. But his crimes are increasing, since 2022, Karapatan and UP Dahas have reported:
147 extrajudicial killings
892 arbitrary or illegal arrests
16 enforced disappearances
580 forced or fake surrender
70,028 indiscriminate firing
59,284 bombing
49,459 forced evacuation
11,302,433 threat/harassment/intimidation
1,289 drug-related killings
560 political prisoners
Filipinos fight back!
Filipinos in the diaspora continue to take inspiration from those fighting on the frontlines in the Philippines.
This year, as we cried for Justice for the Negros 19 and called to Defend Mindoro, Malaya Movement chapters along with Kabataan Alliance and the International Coalition for Human Rights in the Philippines - US lobbied our legislators to speak out against Marcos' fascist violence, with the most recent release of Rep. Jayapal's letter addressed to Ambassador Romualdez calling for independent investigations into the Negros massacre.
We took action when Philippine state representatives were at the United Nations, including Marcos Jr, vying for a seat on the UN Security Council and contributed to Marcos' humiliating loss and rejection from the council.
Along with BAYAN USA, Migrante USA, we held the Kalayaan Summit with 1,000+ Filipinos united to fight for justice and freedom in our motherland. This was possible through the years of dedicated organizing and campaigning.
