Filipinos in the Diaspora respond to Bonifacio Day protests, call for justice and accountability from the Marcos-Duterte regime
Bonifacio Day memorializes what’s not only foundational to Filipinos but a beacon for the world: our continuing and fierce resistance against odds is a model for world resistance against fascism, impunity, and corruption. Mabuhay ang protesta ngbayan laban sa Marcos-Duterte regime.
Live up to Andres Bonifacio’s legacy! Fight against corruption! Fight for genuine change!
On Bonifacio Day, Filipinos all over the world took to the streets to demand that all those implicated in stealing from the Filipino people be held accountable for their crimes.
In the United States, the clamor for justice and accountability were echoed by Malaya Movement chapters and other progressive Filipino organizations, inspired by Bonifacio’s revolutionary legacy of fighting for genuine, systemic change.
Hindi Marcos, Hindi Duterte! Lahat ng sangkot kailangan managot
We call on all Malaya USA members and concerned Filipinos in the US to mobilize this November 30, a historic day in Philippine history (Andres Bonifacio Day). Let it echo through the streets across the United States: Justice and accountability now! Hindi Marcos, Hindi Duterte - resign now! Jail the corrupt! Uproot the rotten system and fight for genuine democracy in the Philippines!
