Marcos and the NTF-ELCAC will stop at nothing to spread lies and endanger the lives of activists, in the Philippines and overseas.
It seems that Marcos Jr. counterinsurgency program has made room for A.I generated statements and images to red-tag and endanger the lives of activists in the Philippines and now overseas.
They are so desperate to paint the fight for justice and human rights as criminal, us as terrorists, but can't even be bothered to actually write their own statements?
The National Taskforce to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) proposed a Php1.6 billion increase in its budget to terrorize communities in the Philippines and overseas, up from Php8.08 billion to Php9.74 billion. While budget transparency is a foreign concept for this fascist agency, we can be certain that a huge portion of its corrupted budget is used for disinformation and black propaganda efforts.
And yet... its Facebook pages are riddled with A.I. slop - disingenuous statements that attempt to sound smarter than they actually are. It would be easy to write this off as nonsense, but the reality is, government red-tagging has led to extrajudicial killings and countless human rights violations against activists.
Red-tagging is not new ... but let's remind the the NTF-ELCAC that the Philippines' own Supreme Court declared it "a threat to people’s life, liberty, and security". Maybe they can ask their A.I. bot for more information about the ruling.
This is why we’ve demanded the dismantling of the NTF-ELCAC since 2018 when dictator and war criminal Rodrigo Duterte established it to try and crush the resistance. Their practices have led to harassment, intimidation, torture, disappearances, and even the killings of activists.
Marcos Jr. inherited the fascist agency, and has given it an ever increasing budget as part of his counterinsurgency program, the “National Action Plan for Unity, Peace, and Development” or NAP-UPD.
While they're busy wasting precious resources to produce more A.I. slop, we must to talk to real people about the dangers of A.I. as a tool of fascism and disinformation under Marcos Jr. We must continue to resist all forms of political repression!
