BATO ON THE RUN | SARA IMPEACHED AGAIN
Former Sen. Bato Dela Rosa is literally running away from accountability, making a game out of his arrest. The Philippine government must surrender him immediately to the ICC and not delay any further. His crimes as the PNP chief at the height of the drug war speak for themselves – blood is on his hands, and the victims and their loved ones deserve swift justice.
Sara Duterte, on the other hand, was rightfully impeached by the House for the second time; however, the Duterte camp is attempting to shield her from an actual Senate trial. They ousted Sen. Sotto and installed Sen. Cayetano, a Duterte crony, to be Senate President. It's obvious that these crony politicians think democracy and justice are just a joke.
We keep inching closer to accountability but corruption and dirty politics make it untenable. Still, we remain steadfast in our pursuit of genuine justice and accountability.
